NGLCC Honors North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce
with Communication Excellence Award
Dallas, TX - The North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce its receipt of the excellence in communication award presented on Thursday, August 13th at the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)'s 2015 International Business & Leadership Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
"We have spent seven years crafting the annual Community Resource & Visitor Guide into the unique and valuable resource that it is today," said Tony Vedda, North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce President and CEO. "It is an honor to receive this recognition, and we look forward to making the 2016 Guide even more of a staple for visitors to the Dallas / Fort Worth area."
NGLCC recognized the North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce for its 2015 Guide, an annual publication offering information about events and businesses in the North Texas region. The Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau has adopted the Guide as the official visitor guide, and the publication is distributed by members, corporate partners, and the DFW airport. "The North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce has done an incredible job of engaging the community with the 2015 Guide," said Sam McClure, NGLCC Senior Vice President. "The staff and board have constructed a useful and creative product that has great value for members as well as residents and visitors to Dallas and Fort Worth. We are pleased to honor their success."
