In 2007, with several years of real estate and title experience behind him, JT opened Uptown Title, a title insurance and escrow company. At the same time, along with his good friend, Jared Pearce, he launched the Red Party Foundation (known today as the Dallas Red Foundation). For seven years, the Dallas Red Foundation fundraising efforts have supported work of Legacy Counseling, a Dallas-based HIV/AIDS service organization.
JT was elected to the Chamber’s Board of Directors in 2011, believing strongly in the relationship based business model promoted by the Chamber. As a sixth-generation Dallasite, JT has deep roots in the Dallas community and has formed lasting relationships with some of Dallas’ most influential people. From restaurant recommendations to helping people through the process of selling or purchasing a home, he was, and still is, the "go-to” person for anyone who knows him or of him.
Currently, JT serves as the Chamber’s Treasurer and as a Membership Ambassador. In addition, he maintains his role as the Co-Founder of the Dallas Red Foundation. When he is not working and dedicating time to non-profit work, you can probably find JT, his partner, Derek, and their toy Poodle, Mister Jack at the lake!
